‘The Supreme Court’s Munich type appeasement’

In my article ‘Spineless Govt and Spineless Court’ published in therationaldaily.com I had said that the Supreme Court should have ordered the police to use force and throw out the protesters blocking roads near Shaheen Bagh who had taken the law into their own hand, instead of sending ‘interlocutors’ to go to these lawless people with folded hands and beg them to vacate the occupied roads. The govt has to run on ‘Iqbal’ and not on ‘lallo chappo’. How can road blocks be tolerated ?
And sure enough, what I had anticipated has happened. These ‘nanis’ and ‘dadis’ have rebuffed Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramchandran, and have demanded the Central Govt to send it’s representatives to parley with them.
But with whom? There is no leader of this anarchic refractory mob, and each nani and dadi is a leader. And what remains of the image of the govt or the court which behaves in such a spineless fashion before this frenzied rag tag hoi polloi? No further comment is needed.
