After 14 MLAs of Congress from Madhya Pradesh tendered their resignation from the party, the political aura in the state is showing new wings. One of the well-known Congress leaders from Madhya Pradesh Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia tendered his resignation on Monday.
In his resignation letter to Indian National Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Scindia cited the reason as he was not able to serve the people of the state and country anymore within the party. ” I’m tendering my resignation from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress and as you well know, this is a path that has been drawing itself out over the last year,” Mr. Scidia wrote in the letter, a copy of which he also shared on Twitter.
The recent development of the story is now pointing towards a new possible political equation. After the resignation of 16 Cabinet Ministers of Madhya Pradesh government on Monday, Mr. Scindia met Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the New Delhi on Tuesday. Amid all this, the political puzzle in Madhya Pradesh is evident.
