‘Ram is not Indian’ and ‘real Ayodhya’ lies in Nepal, claims Nepal Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Nepal KP Oli has invited a new controversy as he claimed that Ram is not Indian and the ‘real Ayodhya’ lies in Nepal.

According to a news report , The Nepal Prime Minister made this comment at a program organized on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti at his residence on Monday. PM KP Oli claimed that the real Ayodhya lies in lies at Thori in the west of Birgunj. The Prime Minister also alleged that India has ‘created a fake Ayodhya’.

” Although the real Ayodhya lies at Thori in the west of Birgunj, India have claimed the Indian site as the birthplace of Lord Ram. We also believe that deity Sita got married to Prince Ram of India. Actually, Ayodhya is a village lying west of Birgunj,” Khabarhub quoted the PM as saying.

The Prime Minister of Nepal also cited it as a ‘fact’ saying this could turn scholars against him.

” Ayodhya is at Thori, west of Birgunj, Balmiki Ashram is in Nepal and the holy place where King Dasharath had executed the rites to get the son is in Ridi. Dasharath’s son Ram was not an Indian and Ayodhya is also in Nepal,” Khabarhub quoted the Prime Minister as saying.
